People are only as emotionally influential as you let them be. Life without emotion or incessantly attempting to control it results in a world where everyone becomes colourless. The best and the worst people only become the texture in life we work around rather than the relationships in life we should be working on. Ive recently discovered how much better life can be when I really let most of it flow freely instead of diverting it in a certain direction. Gravity is hard to fight so Ive stopped the attempts to make water flow up hill but instead Ive built a vessel and am steering it in the midst of that ever changing river.
